Project Overview
DadaVault is a platform that enables galleries, museums, and private collections to digitally exhibit their artists' works on dedicated NFT marketplaces for digital collectibles and Non-Fungible Tokens. During the platform's ideation, both a ready-to-use platform and a custom gallery were developed. These facilities allow artists to subscribe to a gallery and upload images and sounds they wish to make available. Collectors can then purchase these digital works through the platform.
Project Requirements
The client required us to develop a portal that allows gallery owners to subscribe and display artwork in their own galleries, while enabling artists and collectors to purchase digital work directly from them. Additionally, the client sought a design for an interface that would allow product owners to monitor their investments, revenue, and inventory levels. They also aimed to establish a staking environment ready for auditing.
The clients wanted to avoid the development fees and the complex monetization process traditionally associated with converting artwork into NFTs for gallery owners. Instead, they can now benefit from our streamlined onboarding process, which requires no development team. Upon being onboarded to the portal, a gallery deploys its smart contract by completing a form. For this project, we had to design various platform stages: the deployment of smart contracts, the NFT uploading process, and the Minting Fee.
BloxBytes Solutions
BloxBytes served as the technology partner, developing the entire platform in collaboration with our client, including the UI/UX design. Since no gallery was directly onboarded onto the system, we developed a bespoke onboarding process. Initially, it was an invite-only endeavor: once terms were agreed upon with DadaVault, an invitation would be sent to a specific gallery owner to access the platform. After gaining access, gallery owners could then invite artists to join the platform. Upon joining, gallery owners gain access to several features including viewing sales figures, reviewing NFTs (non-fungible tokens), exploring artists' work, messaging their favorite artists, and viewing artist profiles.
Additionally, we created a system to deploy smart contracts that simplifies the onboarding process. Before joining the platform, potential administrators are invited to provide their details and deploy a smart contract. Once accepted, they are responsible for deploying contracts for auctions and sales within the gallery space on behalf of the artists who select them. Our team also implemented full backend database integration with the client’s system.

The DadaVault business model is based on gallery subscriptions to the portal. Gallery owners are prompted to sign up for a subscription and set up a credit card for payments. Subscriptions can be renewed on a monthly or yearly basis. Additionally, DadaVault charges a royalty fee of 2% on the sale of each NFT.
